How is Operation Purple® different from other summer camps?
The goal of the Operation Purple program is to bring children of deployed
service members together for an exciting and memorable camp experience. This
experience is geared towards giving them additional tools to help deal with the
stress resulting from a parent’s deployment and to impart the message “Kids
Serve Too.” The program helps military kids experience carefree fun while
establishing relationships with other children who have the shared experience of
having a parent deployed.
Camper registration begins March 16th for all Operation Purple camp locations.
On March 16th all details on how to register and the necessary forms to apply
for camp will be available on our website. For specific information on a
particular Operation Purple camp, please contact the camp directly using the
contact information provided on our web map at
http://www.operationpurple.org. Click on the applicable state for camp
registration, application, and contact information.
